Ms. Behnke has worked as an environmental consultant in Central Texas since 2010 with a focus in karst geology and local regulations. She has been at Cambrian since 2025. Her specialties in Texas karst includes hydrogeological studies, TCEQ Geologic Assessments, USFWS Initial Karst Surveys, karst feature excavation, cave mapping, City of Austin and Travis County Environmental Resource Inventories, City of Georgetown water quality ordinance memos, consulting on caves encountered during construction for both COA and TCEQ, COA required trench inspections, spring-shed assessments, Edwards Aquifer recharge zone boundary determinations, threatened and endangered species presence/absence surveys, and karst preserve operation and maintenance. She has also submitted habitat conservation plan (HCP) applications for clients for participation in the Williamson County, Balcones Canyonlands, Hays County, and Southern Edwards Plateau plans. Ms. Behnke is a Texas licensed professional geoscientist. Ms. Behnke has assessed potential aquifer recharge features, and conducted hydrogeological and biological surveys of caves and karst features on thousands of acres in Bexar, Comal, Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties, Texas.
